EUROVISION 2019 REVIEW: AUSTRIA - Pænda - Limits

Let's review another ESC 2019 entry!
Today, we turn to Austria. I was very excited to see what we would get from Pænda, who was internally selected for Austria. Did 'Limits' live up to my expectations?
Here are my thoughts:
What I Like: 'Limits' really has began to win me over on repeat listen. Once you adjust to the sparse atmosphere of the song you really begin to notice the production swells throughout the song. In a live arena, this can go either way, but I think Austria will know what they are doing and create a moment with this, which fills me with some hope.
What I Don't Like: I'll admit that out of all the internal selections, this is the one I'm most disappointed with. Not because it's the worst, but because I had such high hopes. I've really gotten into some of Pænda's other material prior to the release of 'Limits', such as Good Girl which has such a non-linear drop and more impact, and snippets of other singles she has lined up from her Instagram, so this left me a little whelmed. I also think that the fact she stays in head voice for the whole duration of the song becomes quite irritating at times, its pretty but a bit more rise and fall would be nice.
Prediction: Hmm, I really don't know here. I can see some clear hyped up fan favourites in SF2 maybe missing out to songs like this thanks to the jury. I really do think Austria will create something special with this and I think it could end up sneaking in somehow. I'll say its qualifying for now.
Final Score: 6.5/10
Summary: A sweet, serene entry with potential depending on the stage setup in May. It's lack of impact could be a risk, but if done successfully, will be its biggest asset. This will definitely be an interesting one to follow.
